During her course of study in Singapore and Beijing as well as an exchange trip to Guangzhou, Physician Goh honed her skills in treating various conditions under the guidance of established mentor physicians and has since garnered many positive feedbacks from patients. As such, Physician Goh finds immense joy in serving patients and witnessing their wellness journey.
Physician Goh has had extensive and varied experience working directly with patients in Singapore, Beijing and Guangzhou. Her current TCM specialisation is in acupuncture, but her work experience extends to pain management, dermatology, gynaecology, paediatrics, and general practice, among others. Amicable and inquisitive by nature, Physician Goh likes travelling and meeting new people. Studying overseas also meant she could visit places of interest and do volunteer services in her free time. She believes that by assimilating the different cultures and expanding her horizons can she better apply her knowledge and expertise to meet the needs of her patients.
As an avid enthusiast of TCM, Physician Goh started practising acupuncture on herself and testing her medicinal formulation in her university days. By constantly striving to improve holistically, Physician Goh has been delivering public talks such as Keeping Balance with TCM in celebration of NTU’s 30th Anniversary as well as Introduction to Paediatric Tuina organised by NTUC U Live. With greater emphasis placed on general wellness, Dorothy hopes to increase TCM awareness in our society.
